Cool In The Pool

My great nieces, Adelina and Lorelei came yesterday for a swim in the pool.
They never got out, for hours and hours, they really had the best time.
They are both great swimmers, both very comfortable in the pool.
Their adorableness is unmatched, they are the cutest kids you will ever meet...
and the stories they tell and the things they say,
they will make me smile for years to come!

I had all the special things for them,
chips, drinks, ice pops, they never left the pool, they ate nothing!
Of course they did find the bowl of candy kisses on the kitchen counter,
that's always their treat before leaving.
A handful of those is always good for the ride home.
And they each get 2 of my Beanie Babies before they leave,
they think that's a great tradition,
but I am just trying to get rid of my collection.
I hope to have the kids more often now that I have made a tiny leap out of quarantine...

sooooo much, you will never know. except for FaceTime, i have not seen them since early march and that is just way too long!! they whispered in my ear, told me secrets...told me how much they missed me. when i asked them "who loves you", they shouted "you do"!!

Hello, Debbie
They are adorable, I am sure they had lots of fun at your pool. Great action shots. I have a lot of beanie babies too, it is a great idea sending them home with them. Take care, stay safe! Enjoy your day, have a happy weekend!

Oh your pool looks so inviting, especially in this ridiculous heat! I have a lot of beanies that were my mothers. I put them in the Samaritan's Purse Christmas boxes. She had so many!
Have a great weekend!

They are ADORABLE , and they sure have "mermaid sounding" names...no wonder they seem to enjoy the pool so much, ha ha! Your pool is so so so gorgeous, not just the pool itself, (altho it is very pretty)---but the water is just brilliantly clear blue and sparkling....it just looks so CLEAN. Dont know what y'all use but it sure does work! I liked the previous post too....those ice cream bars sure looked good. I love those. And i bought a bunch....now we have a freezer and lots of room for frozen treats, yay!! Hugs my friend, and have a great summer weekend!

That's awesome! They obviously had a great time! The hot, humid weather might stop us old people, but not the kids.

Oh that is just great that you were able to have them over and enjoy the day with them!! I use to be the same way when I was a kid, if I got to a pool you couldn't get me out :) Win win with the beanie babies, when my hubby's step mom died all the grandkids were too old to want the beanie babies she had so we just sold them at an auction.

You captured some great photos of those two precious ones. I of course, loved the ones with you. I like your tradition too. I know they must love you a ton. I think it is cute you are giving them your Beanie Babies. I need to start giving away some of my dolls to some greats.
Blessings and hugs!
