House Tour...

I usually decorate the house for Christmas over Thanksgiving weekend...
- but -
we were not home for Thanksgiving, our little get-a-way continues for several more days,
so we decorated before Thanksgiving, when we had the time!
I only decorate the main rooms,
nothing upstairs and I no longer decorate the railings to the upstairs.
First is the Family Room,
this is my favorite because the green and red match so well in here.
It's a huge room, with an 18 foot high slanted ceiling.

Pretty much everything goes and is replaced with a Christmas themed item.

Next up, the Living Room
I use golds, blues and snowmen in this room because those are the natural colors in the room.
Red and green just doesn't look good!!

I have decorations in the entry way, kitchen, and even in the bathroom.
But I think you get the idea.
We will decorate outside when we get home from our trip.

The hubs helps a lot with this, I could never do it alone.
Many Thanks to the hubs!!

WOW! What a gorgeous room! I love all the pretty things you have and the books and candles. LOVE the tray with the Christmas trees...I think they are candles. You have a beautiful home and I know you enjoy it decorated for the holidays! Hugs!

Your Christmas House is all dressed up and ready to welcome you home! That was smart to decorate early.
Hope you are feeling well and enjoying your trip. So many comfy sitting areas waiting for when you get back. Just add hot chocolate and light the fire!

Wow! You have a huge and gorgeous home! Just wow! Everything is gorgeous, added to, by the windows, windows, windows. And your husband built this, yes?

I also noticed pic #5, the distressed table. Since my husband is a woodworker and loves old wood, it caught my eye. :-) I'm sure there is a story, which goes with this little table.

No wonder you can be perfectly content at home. You have a lovely home, where anyone would be content.

Travel safely,
Luna Crone

Oh my dear friend, your home is so beautiful. I always love this Christmas post of your decorations because you have such lovely, cute and fun ones. I love that you are off having an adventure. We ended up having to get a new tree this year so I hope our tree decorations go well on it. I will hope to show some photos.
I have a daughter and her family moving in with us for a while on Dec. 8th. We are decorating before they come. However, we won't be here for Christmas. We are meeting our other daughter and family in Hawaii. I haven't ever been a way for Christmas and I can't imagine being in a warm place. I am excited to go since we don't get very many trip opportunities.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs your way!

You have such a beautiful home!!! I love the tray with the trees and those sweet felt snowman, they are my favorite of them all!! I just love your big row of windows, that's what I wish my home had was more windows :) Glad your hubby helps with the decorating, Greg helps get all the boxes out and in the house but that's where it ends for him, other than the outside he does hand the lights on the house that I can't do, don't care for heights
