A had a fun photo shoot with a Carolina Wren...
He knew I was at the window, that I wanted a picture, and preferred to play hard to get!
What I love about these pictures is how much feather detail they show.
All the "fluffiness"...
all the different shades of brown, that there is even a little gray in there...
and look at those pretty stripes in his tail.
What a wonder...what a thrill to be able to interact with the birds in this way!!
Lucky me!!

Hello, love the sweet wren and their song. The last photo is my favorite, he noticed you. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend
the C wren isn't much to look at, but they have a pair of lungs on 'em. Love to listen to them sing. And boy can they sing.
And you share your good fortune with us. Beautiful, Debbie!
You certainly get some fine sightings.
-grin- What a little tease!!!!!!!
And what a little 'cutie pie'... I just love wrens!
Love their song, their littleness, their perkiness, etc. Just love 'em!
Yes, you certainly have a wonderful photo taking setup!
"Jenny Wren" hugs,

All the best Jan
Little wrens just sing their little hearts out, don't they? Love his puffiness....and your photos! Hugs!
What wonderful pictures Debbie. Works of art everyone of them.
Lucky you, indeed. I love the fat, fluffed up feathers.
Great shots. Some of your other birds are much more cooperative.
Yes, indeed, lucky you! I love how you enteract with your birds and other critters. That is such a beautiful little bird and the colors are lovely. He is a fluffy one for sure.
Blessings and hugs~

Of course, but also showing off really well for you too!
Maybe he was camera shy. He did have some fluffy looking feathers.
The beak is so interesting.
He's lovely! Such great closeups!
LOL! I've always liked how their down-turned beak makes them look grumpy. Probably a male which would explain the lack of cooperation. ;-)
