There's A New Nikon In The House

We are still getting to know each other...
I am still reading the manual...
but this baby does a lot and I am excited to get to know her better.

This camera has awesome zoom capability and amazing scene settings.
She will also be much easier for me to handle!

Wow! That's awesome, Debbie. I know you'll become best friends with her sooner rather than later. Hey, you're a smart, smart lady. Me? I'm still trying to figure out things about my car that I've now had over a year!

Love ya!

Nikons rock. I am a Nikon shooting also. I have a D40, D60 and a D200. I use the 200 most the time. Can't wait to see the results of your new toy. When blogging most my pics are with my cell phone but the pics of the day are with the big camera. Congrats on your new toy.....NOW GO OUT AND PLAY WITH IT.

Love your camera! Wish I had one like it but guess it will be awhile before I can justify purchasing a new one. But, who knows, I may treat myself. And, I will blame it all on you, Debbie!! hehe

Hello Debbie!:) I have been meaning to return after your lovely generous comment about my book but didn't get a chance until now. You already take beautiful photographs, but with your new Nikon camera I wait with bated breath!:)) I do hope you find someone to help you publish your own book of bird photographs one day, because they are stunning.

Oh wow, a new camera! I can only imagine what breathtaking photos you will capture with this fancy camera. I thought your photos you captured with your last camera were just about perfect. Can't wait to see what you do with this new one. I am a wee bit jealous. =)

Debbie! I just got the same camera.... but I went from a point and shoot fit in my purse one to this -- so it is definitely not exactly easier to handle. I'm still working my way through the manual too. I still am going to use my little camera for everyday -- when I don't want to have a camera around my neck. But I will use the Nikon when we go birding or looking for scenery on purpose. At least that's the plan at this moment in time.
