I have been home a bit the last few weeks because of the weather and the temperatures.
I never mind, I only have about a zillion things to keep me busy.
The yard birds also entertain me when I don't get out.
Here are a few of my favorites from this week.
Chickadee
Male House Finch
Titmouse
Female Cardinal
Yellow-Rumped Warbler
And this, my Flicker, who is the most difficult to photograph.
And although it feels like Winter outdoors, it sounds like Spring.

I bet they are great company! such cute wee characters and your photos are just wonderful, Debbie!
Have a lovely spring weekend!
Your assortment of yard birds is quite wonderful.
Fantastic! I believe you must have them trained at this point. ;-) The Flicker is beautiful!
The Flicker may be the most difficult but also the most rewarding.
a feeder brings the most marvelous visitors
hehehe - the chickadee's and titmouse are trained for sure. they don't/won't fly off when they see me and are so easy for me to photograph!!! the flicker, now that's another story!!!
More beautiful photo's of your beautiful birds!
Debbie, you really should enter some of your work in contests.
I know you'd win!
xoxo
Beautiful....Can't wait till I start seeing more around here as spring moves in! Those are framing pics. Great job.
Hello Debbie!:) "What beauty"! Incredibly beautiful captures, of birds I never see, unless they are on nature blogs like yours. Thank you for sharing these beauties Debbie.:) I love them all!
Oh! Little beauties...
Great photos! Love all of them!
I love them!
These beautiful birds have the perfect lighting. Gorgeous photos Debbie.
Always lovely to see such beautiful birds.
The Flicker is lovely but so too is the Yellow-Rumped Warbler.
Good wishes for the weekend - hope it's going well.
All the best Jan
Great pictures as always!
You have such perfect spots for the birds to sites you get excellent pictures.
Great shots! I've been shooting birds through the windows too, some of the same ones as you did.
Beautiful! Wonderful!
Have a blessed day!
In my opinion, ALL your bird species today are 'challenging to photograph'!! But, my goodness what glorious image you've captured. So perfect in every way possible.
Thanks so much for your participation this weekend at I'd Rather B Birdin'! I never stop enjoying your birding photos.
images instead of the singular, image. Sorry
Wow. They are all incredible, like scanning a nature site, but the last one, your flicker, oh my goodness what a sweet pea!
pretty birds
Hello, Debbie! You are lucky to see all these birds posing for you and your camera. I love the Flicker shot. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy day and new week ahead!
You have great yardbirds -- and the Flicker shot is perfect (and I know how hard they are to get). Thanks for visiting me on my little blog and no need to thank me for leaving comments here. I do keep my blog as a memory 'diary' (more and more important the older I get), but I also really enjoy visiting others and I love the connections we bloggers make through comments. I love knowing a little bit about what its' like to live on (for instance) the Jersey Shore .... and all the different parts of the country and other countries too -- things I never ever would have learned without blogging.
I know what you mean I like to get out and do things but I have more than enough to keep me busy when I am at home... beautiful job you do in capturing these beauties!! Spring will soon be here :)
You are so blessed to have these beauties right in your backyard; I loved these photos. I really love your spotted Flicker; spectacular looking bird. Hugs!
Nice shots. I love the sounds of spring, though I couldn't hear them above the wind today. I have so many things to keep me busy, sometimes it's almost paralyzing--not knowing where to start.
Great bird visitors! I especially love the titmouse. And we both have flickers this week!
These are all incredible shots! I'm very impressed. Love when I get to see the flickers.
What wonderful images.
