Feed The Birds...

The Chickadees come all day long.
They are always hungry, can eat twice their weight in food,
and are extremely friendly this time of year!!

I love the Tufted Titmouse
They have the brightest eyes, the cutest whistle like call,

and they love peanuts!!

The Blue Jay's also love peanuts...

and if I must say so myself,
this guy is going to choke and need CPR one day!!

And clearly his mom never taught him "not" to fly with food in his mouth!!

And look at the size of the tail on this Mourning Dove,
I just adore these pigeonlike birds!!

There is standing room only these days at the feeders,
and I could not be happier!!

Sharing with World Bird Wednesday at The Pine River Review
Please stop by to see all the amazing birds from around the world!!

The blue jay is gorgeous. What a beautiful day to just sit around and watch the birds. Those peanuts are definitely to big for those little fellows.
Have a great humpday.

Hi Debbie, fantastic collection of yard birds. I love the pretty Titmouse too, but those Chickadees are just so darn cute. Wonderful photos, have a great day.

I saw a blue jay high in a tree on my walk this morning (iphone pic on the 365 blog) and thought of YOU (of course!) So fun to actually see him on a branch and not a wire...these birds around here love the wires! Maybe this weekend I can get my husband motivated to fix the bird feeder - that I got for HIM cause he loves the birds...we'll see!! Great shots...and 'not to fly with food in his mouth' gave me a chuckle!

Who would have thought of peanuts; I am definitely going to try this snack for my birds....

Don't you just love it when the feeders are crowed and they are all vieing for a chance at the food...My blue jays run the others off and I don't like that but I guess that's the way of the wild.....but then I really have a hard time with bossy people too.....

Have a great day.....

I do, I do feed the bird yet your pictures never fail to amaze me.

I need to grab my camera more and practice baby practice.

Ya think I could get the ones that occasionally land on top my head when I'm fillin' feeders???

Have a magnificently blessed day sweetie!!! :o)

I'm with you there. Since we found a place where the squirrels won't wipe us out, we have really enjoyed feeding the birds. Love your photos! I guess Blue Jays have a natural kind of Heimlich Maneuver. They are so pushy!

You always capture the most beautiful shots! My mom always has tons of bird feeders set out every year and the birds just flock to her house. It's so fun to sit on the porch and watch them.

The birds at your feeders appear so exotic in comparison to the ones I see here in the UK. It is the blue ones we never have here.Great photos. This is a great blog.I will be back.

Ok, I should really learn things from you, and start treating all birds nicely like you do! With peanuts or not... Hard to resist such beauties!

I think I would enjoy watching birds with you at your feeder. Just lovely and the only one we have is the dove. All of the others I would love to see in person.

These are gorgeous I sat in my backyard last summer trying to catch the Blue Jay. Thought about putting peanuts out but we have so many squirrels figured it was useless. Saun
