Celebrating Independence Day

The towns around the Jersey shore stagger the firework shows so they are not all on the same night,
this way, you can attend and watch several from towns close by.
We were able to sneak off and see the fireworks in Asbury Park on Monday night.
They were nothing short of amazing, the best show I have ever seen.

The fireworks were launched from 3 different locations close by to each other on the beach.
We watched from a patch of grass nearby the parking lot where we had parked the car.
The Stone Pony was having a concert on their outdoor stage which made the area even more crowded.
We were able to leave the area safely and very quickly, before all the real traffic started.

- don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle -

Hello Debbie,
Your fireworks are beautifully captured!
I watched the display from NYC, they looked great too.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Nice it was a great show and having music near by would be nice to go along with it. We didn't go this year, way too HOT, even in the evenings. There are so many around here that get the big ones that it is like being at a show without leaving home anymore, I just don't like that they carry it on after midnight :(
