The Strawberry Moon

I always hear about and keep track of these phenomenal events happening in the sky.
More often than not, I do not see what I am "suppose" to see...
"it's cloudy, it's raining, it was north of me, south of me" and for whatever reason, I miss it.
I myself remember, I stay up way past my bedtime, I go outside, often freeze,
but I just don't see what I am looking for.
The "Strawberry Moon" was on June 14th and the hubs and I went outside at 11:43 pm,
camera in hand and very high hopes.

It was a "tad" cloudy wouldn't you say?

After a little time and a lot of patience, we saw and photographed this.
It looked strawberry with the naked eye, but we were not able to capture that with the camera.

Last night, the 15th,
the hubs saw a bright orange, quite delightful moon as we were getting ready for bed.
It was so extraordinary, I hope you were looking at it too...
as you know, we are all looking at the same moon!

You know we didn't hear about it until after the effect, so we missed it. I think it is kind of cool when you can get the clouds around it. You can see some good detail on the moon, so that is neat!
