Odds and Ends...

If there are no pictures to prove it happened...did it really happen?
The hubs was up first,
he headed in to our home office and there was a Great Blue Heron standing 5 feet from the window.
He tried to get a picture, but the movement caused it to fly off.
A few days later, I was in the pool,
the hubs was walking around and there it was again maybe 20 feet from the pool.
Does it live here with us...I hope so!!

During the middle of the month and toward the end of each month,
I am not as busy with work.
As each month finishes up, I always have a lot to do.
I have been cleaning, a little and coloring.

I finished the Pumpkin that I last showed you...
I also finished two more,

A Bouquet of Flowers & Bluebirds with Flowers
The Bluebirds, way too busy but I really like the Bouquet of Flowers

I have been knitting and I have 2 more rows to finish my

Northwind Cowl
this is the fourth of these Northwind Cowls I have made.
This is knitted with hand-dyed yarn, by my friend Liz at Arrow Acres Farm
It is 100% Baby Alpaca
The color is Fireside, it will be perfect in fall and definitely just right for my Rhinebeck trip.

I need to organize and repot my house plants.
I got this beautiful hand made clay pot at the Ocean Grove Craft Show, I love it!
I have a plant that needs a pot and this will be perfect for it!

The hubs toasts these yummy corn muffins in the morning, they are so delicious!

That heron is obviously attracted to your home for some reason, Debbie. Hope you have more sightings!

It's all so pretty! Does the heron have a nest near your pool and back window? I thought they nested up high, or am I thinking of storks? Linda in Kansas

It is so frustrating when birds fly away just as you reach for the camera! But sometimes it works out and you get the perfect shot. I hope you do! The corn muffin does look perfectly toasted.

How neat you have a Heron so close :)
Love all your colorings, even the one you think is busy.
