What To Write About

That's been on my mind a bit lately.
With just under 5,000 new cases of COVID in New Jersey yesterday,
and the hubs still reconstructing the building that burnt,
life here has kept me indoors.

I like being home, but I also enjoy my adventures,
they provide pictures and give me something to talk about.
We are expecting a storm today, I would like to go down and see the ocean,
she is usually pretty angry right about now, we will all have to close our eyes and imagine it.

On Netflix, The Christmas Chronicles 2 was popping up, but I had never seen the first one.

So, we watched the first one first,
(I think the hubs slept) and I loved it.
I couldn't wait to see the 2nd.

The 2nd was a big disappointment,
just not as good as the first.

There was a twist at the end and that I loved!

I am still receiving my Home Chef meals.
Most nights, I forget to take pictures, but here are a few recents!

Mini Beef Meat Loaves, with Crispy Bacon Brussel Sprouts
I added the Potatoes

Creamy Oven-Roasted Tomato & Chicken Penne with Spinach and Parmesan

Italian Sausage & Roasted Tomato Cream Cavatappi

That's All Folks!

Hello, Debbie,
I have never seen either of those movies, I will check out Netflix. I am running out of blogging material too. The birds are always the same and the weather does not always cooperate with our walks. Your meals all look delicious, I love pasta! Stay safe and take care! Have a happy weekend!

We LOVED the first movie. Chase watched the second one at 6:30 am the day it came out. I was so disappointed with it. Chase has watched it multiple times and it has grown on me. But still LOVE the first! We say that if my dad was Santa, he would be Kurt Russel in the movie! Right??!!

Debbie, Your dinners are looking very tasty. I am not going to the grocery so much. Today I het the $ store, I was almost the only one there. I heard others but never ran into anyone. So I grab what I needed and got out . When I got home I wiped everything down with the bleach mixture that Dr. Oz told us about back in March. It wears me out. I call that my exercise. LOL. Blessings, keep safe., xoxo, Susie

I may have mentioned this last year and you've probably seen it, but if not, Klaus is a great animated movie. The food looks delicious as usual! Tomorrow I'm doing pork chops, potatoes, carrots, and onions with gravy in the Crock Pot and Sunday I'm making chili.

Howdy Debbie, hope maybe you can get out to see the ocean this weekend! OH, you asked if my sunflowers were real and no they were NOT, HA HA LOL, those were fake. Your food posts have now made me hungry, so I am going in search of a snack, haha. Happy weekend my friend, take care!!

The food looks so good. I could probably eat kale again if I put it in a sauce like that spinach.

I just heard on the news tonight that covid has even surpassed heart disease as the #1 killer, just amazing, especially since over the summer we did so well. We are trying to limit how much we go out too now. We watched the first Christmas Chronicles but haven't seen the 2nd yet.
I never thought of making mini meatloaves, I bet they cook quicker than making one big one. Hope you can find time to get out for a little adventure soon.

We are all running out of our usual blog material, but I hope everybody knows that it helps tremendously to know how others are handling all of this.
. Even if it’s the same old birds or just delicious dinners or neighborhood walks . We got away to the coast in our tiny tin can (oops I mean trailer) for a few days and I may be blogging those pictures for as many weeks as we spent days there .., it was fun and we were safely socially isolated ...staying home, but with different scenery. So grateful.

I haven't seen either of the Christmas Chronicles Movies. We will have too do that. Around here it is a little bit of football and a while lot of Hallmark movies. I think my husband is awesome to watch them with me. Once in a while, he dozes of.
Your meals always look yummy!
I know that you will continue to find some fun things to do at home. I hope your husband's projects gets finished soon.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs your way!
