It's Definitely Looking Like Christmas

This is the "other" room we hang out in at our house.
Decorated before Thanksgiving just like the other room,
it definitely looks and feels special.

The large wreath on the right, matches the Christmas Tree on the left.
I used shades of gold in this room as red and green just doesn't go with blue.

Every table gets cleared, and Christmas appears.

I keep all of my scrapbooks open, to display past Christmases.

I always put pretty Christmas ornaments in candle holders,
or tie bows around them.

These ornaments are from past trips to Disney.
All are dated.

The back side of the front door.

My shovel, I keep it by the front door,
just in case you know.
* wink *

These are the boys stockings,
I made both of them.

And Santa's been winking at us since the boys were little.
He's got a few chips and scratches,
but it's just not Christmas without him!

Debbie, It is Christmas at your beautiful home. I swear I must me the only one in America that does not own one of those ceramic trees. I am going to get myself one. LOL Blessings to you and your family, xoxo, Susie

Another fabulous room decorated beautifully. My goodness it is a big room. Why, you could throw a party with a lot of people and not feel squished.....of course not this year. =)

Howdy Girlfriend Debbie....your house is so beautiful!! So glad you shared it with us. You know the other day when you showed your decorations I thought said to myself " I thought I remembered photo albums and/or scrapbooks laid out and open to look at on a table or something??" and I just about put it in a comment but then thought "nope, maybe I'm remembering something else"......well, here today are the scrapbooks open just like I remembered!! haha LOL. They were just IN ANOTHER ROOM, HA HA. Hope your week is going going great, will y'all be able to go to that ICE thing this year or is it cancelled? The place with the ice slides?

Debbie - you have a gorgeous home, and even more spectacular with the holiday cheer! The home-made stockings are my favorites, closely followed by the shovel that is much too pretty to use (wink!)

So fun to see all your decorations, I know what you mean about those pieces that have a few dents, scratches or chips, you have to keep them because of all the memories they hold :) I like how you display some of your ornaments in candle holders or in a bowl on the table. My favorite has got to be your shovel, that is the cutest painting on it. You did a fabulous job with their stockings, of all the ones we have my hubby's is the only one I made and I cross-stitched his :)

Love that tree and matching wreath, just beautiful. The boys stockings are truly remarkable, you always do such fantastic work on your crafts and a wink from Santa can always bring cheer.

This room's decorations are so lovely. I love the wreath the tree, all of the cute table decorations. Of course, those that have a lot of meaning for you like your kids socks and the Santa wink are treasures. I do love your Christmas scrapbooks. I continue to find you amazing at the many creative things you do. I think you could become a decorator.
Sending loving thoughts and Christmas hugs your way!
