Saturday Critters ~ 315 ~

The Female House Finch 
has brown/gray plumage, streaked above and below, 
with two pale wing bars and pale edges to her flight feathers.

Her song is a series of rich, chattering phrases...her call is a shrill whee'ert.

I see her and her male companion at my feeders daily, year round.






Her marking are so pretty, her antic's are a joy to see at the feeders and in the trees.

Beautiful photos! Your trees make for awesome backgrounds. Our bird activity has died way off with the current mild weather. I got a very nice feeder for Christmas, but it's not getting used at the moment.

I always loved these little ones back when I fed birds. Love that quizzical look in the last pic. They’re all so good. I’m glad you had a good Christmas Debbie ... and am wishing you a wonderful 2020. (I will be back blogging next week).
