The Wishing Tree - Part II

I am so happy to be continuing this story...
if you missed Part I, I am sharing what I wrote in Part I right here.

My good friend and knitting teacher,
recently wrote in her blog about a local wishing tree on the "bike path".
The "bike path" as it is known to the locals is what I know to be
55 miles, lots of branches, we often ride a small part of the path that ends at
Allaire State Park.
In all the times I have enjoyed parts of the path, I have never seen the wishing tree.
And not just that,
I know now that there are at least 2 of these trees,
both of which I pass in the car as well and have never noticed.
geeeeeez, that is so unlike me.

There with the tree, is a plastic bin with markers, tags, string and instructions.
The first time we visited, the bin was empty,
but this time, we visited tree #2 and the bin was filled with lots of tags
and the hubs and I got to make wishes.

- the hubs -

- me -

It was also fun to read what other people wished for.
I shared some pictures of those other wishes here in Part I.

And Happy Birthday to my very sweet and loving sister,
I hope you have an amazing day - I can't wait to see you this weekend!!

I love the wishing tree and it's so inspiring/sad/beautiful/bittersweet/uplifting/full-range-of-emotions.....just reading all the wishes, isn't it? I loved the previous post too....oh my gosh all those beautiful sunflowers and butterflies! Y'all look so cute in the pictures, and there you are in that outfit I love so much---the khaki and nice pretty white blouse! (why oh why does that not look so good ON ME!!??) Pretty sunflower scarf too....that suited the day just perfect!!
