Festive Flakes

I was sound asleep early Friday morning...
the hubs came upstairs and was making a racket, he doesn't usually do that when I am sleeping.
I said something to him, I don't remember what...
and he said "oh, go back to sleep, we didn't get that much snow"!
I jumped up...
"snow, we got snow, go get my camera"...and of course he did.

From upstairs it looked like this...

It wasn't long before I was outside running around, taking pictures.

It was cloudy and cold...everything was black and white.

It wasn't much, just enough to get me out of bed, nice and early!

The jury is still out on whether or not we are getting more today,
the weather people are all a buzz, but it looks to me like the snow will be just to the north of us!

We have enough snow now that I will have to shovel the driveway and the sidewalk clean. Damn!

We are lucky that you did run about snapping those beautiful moments of winter in it's glory! A perfect way to wake up in the morning too.

Hello, we had a little dusting too. Pretty scenes and snowy images. We were suppose to have more last night but temps warmed up enough to turn it all to rain instead. I hope you still have more snow so you can make your snow angel. Have a happy day and a great new week!

How lovely.

It was 92 when I went hiking with the pups yesterday. Glad there was a nice breeze coming off the bay.

This is just enough to decorate last years foliage and make it look extra pretty.

Brrrrrr. Thank you for being a brave woman jumping out of a warm bed to brave the cold. And thanks for sharing the lovey photos ...although I must confess I’d rather experience that cold through your blog than in real life!
