Home Chef

Have I told you how much I love these meals?
How much I adore Tuesday's because that's the day my meals are delivered?

Look how wonderfully the ingredients are packaged it your delivery box,
making it super easy to unpack.
Meats are always packaged separately and the little sacks look so cute in the refrigerator.

My meals have been arriving early in the day, around 11 am,
so I almost always cook the first meal on Tuesday.
The hubs reads the recipe cards and decides what he wants to have first.

Ditalini Chicken Caesar Salad with homemade Parmesan Croutons,
this was delicious.
The meats in this plan are so special, so flavorful and juicy,
I have never eaten chicken that tasted this good.

Steak de Burgo with Mashed Red Potatoes and Roasted Carrots
Another winner!!

Chicken Kiev with Goat Cheese Butter and Garlic Broccoli
I added the rice.
The chicken looks dry in the picture but it wasn't, it was so crisp and delicious.

Those meals were from last week, this next meal I prepared this week.

Fig Glazed Pork Tenderloin with Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Carrots
I made this Tuesday and it was a big hit,
the sauce was very flavorful!

I skipped a lot of weeks during the summer,
I am happy to be back on a regular schedule with my meals...
3 per week seems to work out perfectly for us!

Did you make the glaze for the pork tenderloin or did it come with the kit?

the ingredients for the glaze came with the kit. it was 2 oz of red wine and 2 tbsp. of fig preserves sautéed into a thin syrup. simple and really delicious!

YUM!!! Everything looks so good. I wish I didn't have so many people to feed or I would order this. Wait, I take that back. I'm happy to have so many people to feed in my life!!! BUT they sure do cost a lot to feed! Just keep me in mind if you ever need help peeling your potatoes lol!!!

Oh this sounds so good. Let someone else think up what to fix for dinner. Wow, I love it. One of my complains is thinking about what to fix. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

All looks so good. I don't think I've ever tasted anything with figs in it (or a plain fig either for that matter). Love brussels sprouts roasted, never thought of putting them with carrots. yummm.

My mouth was watering as I read this Debbie. If I still worked I might be tempted. I love the look of your blog. Are you with Google Blogger or Word press? I need a change I think, if you are with Blogger, would you mind telling me which template you use? Thanks, Pauline

I know I keep saying this, but I really need to check this out. Since Greg is doing most of the cooking these days, I think it would be really helpful for him - and less expensive than going out on those nights when he’s not feeling inspired. Lol - he’s understanding the joys of daily meal planning... :-)

My older son and I have been buying Blue Apron and Fresh Choice, they are excellent too. I like all the new to me ingredients like truffle oil and Middle Eastern spices.
