Trunk or Treat

Yesterday was Halloween,
and I was invited to go to both of my great nieces
Halloween Parades at School.
I was so excited to be going,
without even knowing what it was all about.
I can openly admit, that I was more excited than any one of the children there.

I have never attended a "trunk or treat"...
It's all about, opening up the trunk, decorating it and handing out candy for the kids.
I could not believe what the parents at this school created...
Amazing stuff!

And here's my little Lorelei,
the cutest witch I have ever seen.
She was so incredibly happy that her Aunt Debbie was there.

They paraded through the parked vehicles and their little bags were filled with treats.
Lorelei was really in to it!

These fang teeth were a big hit, I will have to remember that for next year!

My Addie goes to a different school, they just paraded 2 laps in the field.
I got the feeling she was not in to it as much...

She decided to be a fireman and she would like to be a police officer when she grows up.

I zoomed in on her and caught her talking on her 2-way radio!

At the end, I finally got a smile!

Happy November 1st, are you feeling like I am, the months seem to just be flying by.

I hate to be a curmudgeon, but it looks like segregated white America. Given the state of gun violence and the frequency of mass slaughter in your country I would be hesitating to go to any gathering. Having said that, I hope the kids all enjoyed Halloween.

How wonderful! I've not seen a trunk and treat, and those were really great and Halloween festive. :)

Your little nieces looks so darling; I'm glad you were able to go to both of the parades.

Wow they did go all out decorating the cars, we have quite a few of them in our area but I have never gone to one. They both looked great in their costumes, that is neat they allow the kids to do this, bet it is a fun day for them!
I so agree that time is flying by way to fast, hopefully winter will fly by fast too.

I am so happy that you were able to attend the Halloween Parades for your two nieces. They are so adorable. I think they looks so cute as a Witch and Fireman. You got some fantastic photos of them. You are such an awesome Auntie.
The Trunk or Treat cars that are decorated are way out there. I loved them all. In our church wards they sometimes do a Trunk or Treat we didn't have one this year. Kind of sad; because they are so fun.
I can tell you had a fun Halloween.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs!

yep we have the trunk or treats here too, I guess sometime after our kids grew up, the trunk or treats came into fashion, guess it offers a safer alternative to door to door trick or treat. Your neices looked ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!--love their cute costumes! Hope they got lots of yummy candy!
