Missing Summer...

All of a sudden, my mind is filled with memories of summer...

I think I miss the pool the most.

I miss my garden and fresh vegetables...

 bike rides in the park...

and the colorful summer flowers.

I am thinking about fun sandcastles at the beach...

and pretty butterflies in the garden.

I miss raising and releasing my own butterflies...

rides on the peddle boats...

and fireworks!!

Here's to an amazing summer, and dreaming of warm weather days to come!

Winter is a time to get a whole lot of projects finished. I am sure you will have fun knitting, cozy and warm inside. And there is a whole of range of interesting wildlife out there for the keen observer.

We can dream for sure. That’s all we can do here because we had a vicious storm and the power is out for 12-24 hours. And it’s still miserable! Yuck!

oh marie, i am so sorry!! i love snow, but big snow storms are hard to get through, especially without power!! i hope you have ways to keep warm, and little projects to keep your mind occupied. we put together a puzzle during super storm sandy (8 days without power) and we counted our blessing that we didi not suffer any damage from the storm!! best wishes to you!!

What a wonderful looking back over view. Without power for 8 days??? That would be hard for sure but you and your hubby still managed to have fun with your puzzle. Only need a light jacket in the mornings here and then short sleeve is fine, that is the best part of living in Arizona.

Oh goodness---sounds like some brrrcoldbrrrr weather has hit!? Your summer pictures are beautiful and I love that one of y'all in the big pretty flamingo, so fun!! I love summer as well, but it's a pretty brutal season here in Charleston--the spring and the Fall and winter are the good seasons really. We have flowers bloom all winter here and it's prime walking weather so off we go!!---nearly every day. Summer walking is pretty much torture, ha ha LOL So we walk at sundown and even after dark and even then it's quite unpleasant, ha ha The trade off is our pleasant fall and winter times I guess. If you get to needing a dose of sunshine and warm temps, hop on a train or plane and come visit me! LOL Well, the weekend is here already, y'all got any fun plans? We are all done decorating and I've done a quite a bit of shopping---time to tackle those Christmas cards maybe and begin wrapping presents. Your pool picture is so pretty, I'm telling you Debbie if I had that in my backyard I would NEVER NEVER EVER get anything done, LOL---I would be in that pool all the time. It's one of the prettiest pools i've ever seen plus the pretty view.

The view from the pool is gorgeous, as is the pool itself, and that is a cute flamingo paddle boat with such a happy couple in it.
