Sail Away Argia

While we were away in Mystic,
we took a 2 hour cruise on an 81' sailboat,
The Argia
This was an amazing cruise with beautiful views of the
Mystic River, Islands, Lighthouses and gorgeous Sailboats and Ships.

This lighthouse was renovated and is now a private home.

This was such a beautiful day and a beautiful sail!

Hello, the sailboat ride sounds like fun. I would have to take some sea sick pills. The scenery is gorgeous, I love the Lighthouse. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

Oh, lovely shots. Living in a lighthouse would be cool. Actually one of my fantasies is living in a renovated firehouse. How cool would it be to have a pole to get to the first floor?

hi eileen, i am motion sensitive - they said you would only get sea sick if you have motion sickness riding in a car. they were right. one time, when we went through a large wake, i felt it a little but only then. i did fine, it was relaxing and fun!!

You really are an inspiration to me. My family just needs to take some time and do something fun. Work, Work, Work. That is all we do. We live in a beautiful place and need to stop and smell the wildflowers and spot some swans. Although about swans: my brother in law works for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and is involved swan reintroduction in our valley. On the day before the morning release he comes to spend the night and we have swans sleeping in our garage in dog kennels. They really hiss when you get close.

Beautiful photos! That would be fun! I've never been on a sailboat. I can only imagine what it cost to buy the lighthouse and make it a home.

I went back and I've missed a few posts! I am enjoying ALL THE PICTURES of Mystic! I've never been there and it sure looks charming! I do remember the movie! Goodness mercy---all the DELICIOUS FOOD PHOTOS!---that ice cream looks amazing and I'd love to sit down and attack that bisque and the lobster roll! I love eating at places like that, outside, at picnic tables, with the fresh air and the sunshine and the seabreezes and the sound of the gulls chattering. Y'all have had a wonderful get-a-way, I'm so glad you got to go! The carnival pictures prior to your trip were very very good too---nice and bright and colorful! Sure enjoyed those.
