The Chickadees...

I often wonder how many Chickadees I have in my yard.
I see them all day long...
they are known to stay in small flocks to defend their territory against other Chickadees.
They prefer sunflower seeds,
use the bird bath for both bathing and drinking
and always make a pit stop in the "favorite" tree before dining at the feeders.

These images were taken on different days and I think of different birds.

They have the sweetest call - sounding just like their name, "chickadeedeedee".
This is one of the cute little birds I see year-round!

The Chickadee is my very favourite bird, partly, because I too have them around all year and they always sound cheerful. Great pictures.

Great shots....and they are one of my fav birds. So dainty looking, with the black, white and gray looks being so bold they just jump out at you. I love to watch all the birds flying around and singing, even the bad and his woman, the hawk!

Seeing them in your photos is the next best thing to seeing them with my own eyes! We don't get many here. I always remember how sweetly they sing from a Character Sketch book I have.

My personal blog sadly has gone the way of the passenger pigeon. But my husband and I own an old fashioned soda fountain, book store, pharmacy in our little town. We have a blog on our website driggspharmacy.com . My husband takes great pictures of our mountains and posts them sometimes. Similarly to you from your bio, he was diagnosed a few years ago with MS as well. Gives a person a new perspective on life. Check out our pictures. If you ever visit Yellowstone Park, stop and we will make you a lime freeze or huckleberry milkshake!!

I love chickadees! There's something so friendly about them, like you could sit down and chat - which is what I think the one in the last shot wants to do!

Well, you should know who it is! Maybe they can wear name tags!

This is such an adorable bird. I think kind of cuddly like. I don't know how you would tell if they are a different bird. As always, I love your bird photos.
Blessings and hugs!
