The Chickadee!!!

Back in Spring,
just before the trees filled with leaves,
I spent a few minutes photographing one of my Chickadees.

The bird was singing to me and I shared those images here,
but I never shared the other pictures I took that day.

The window was open, there was a beautiful cool breeze
and we both enjoyed the time together.

No bright colors are required, this bird is a beauty.

Do you have a favorite backyard bird??
This is one of my favorites...but I say that about all the birds,
* smile *

Adorable bird. If I were to pick a favorite, I might have to go with cardinals... or the red-bellied woodpeckers. Hmm. Tough choice. I love them all.

Oh that's hard to say, they're all favorites, but what I can say is I miss the KIlldeer and Mourning Doves, they used to be in abundance and Kildeer nests right in my own yard! But they seem to have moved on, to places unknown!

Good morning, Debbie. I love all these cute images of your Chickadee. They are adorable birds. I have a tough time deciding which bird is my favorite, I guess they all are my favorites! Have a happy day and week ahead!

Awww, he's a little cutie. Glad you were able to get such gorgeous shots. We have a slew of birds who visit after Kasey the dog goes away.

ohhhhhhhh I love the Chickadee. Between them and Titmouse, I can sit and watch 'em flit around all day. So cute. Can't take a bad shot of either (well, I have). But you can't, by these beauties.

Oh speaking of cool breezes I wish it would hurry up & get cooler, like you I never complain about winter. I can't think of a favorite bird but early spring I had a couple of visits from a male Indgo Bunting such a beautiful color blue. Nice pictures Debbie!

What a sweet little bird; I've never seen one so I thank you for your beautiful photos. We don't get Chickadees here in the UK, nor the other birds mentioned in these comments. My favourite here is the shy little wren, so perky, so sweet, so tiny; I had a pair nesting in my garden hedge this year and I was so thrilled. The most common bird at my feeders is the sparrow and I have three different families all brought by their over-worked parents to enjoy the seeds, pellets and meal-worms that I put out for them.

Such a Beauty that is for sure, captured him wonderfully... I think I enjoy the cardinals that come to our feeder just because they are so colorful :)
