My Beautiful Balloon...

This years annual balloon festival in New Jersey was this past weekend,
we attended the Saturday morning launch at 7 a.m.

That's a "7 a.m. launch time" which requires a
5 a.m. start for us.
Actually a 4 a.m. start  for me
because of the shower and the doing of the hair.
The hubs just puts on the ball cap, brushes his teeth,
and he's ready in under 5 minutes.

The balloons only launch at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. when the breezes
are gentle, then it is safest to fly.

We attend almost every year,
and this launch produced the prettiest pictures, by far.

The sun was up, the sky was blue and you needed
a sweatshirt to keep warm.
Perfection!!

So...are you ready, to go "Up, Up and Away"...

This is one of the fun-est things we do during the summer!
Do I say that about everything we do?
Well, yes, yes I do!!

So what about my blogging friends,
have you ever attended a Hot Air Balloon Festival?
Ever been in a Hot Air Balloon??
You may remember our ride, if you don't,
you can read all about it here.

Hello Debbie, these are all just stunning photos. The balloons look so pretty with the blue sky. I like the shot with you posing "holding up the balloon" cute! Oh, and is that a cute turtle hatching from a shell? Adorable! Some day, I'll get there! For now I just love your images! Have a happy day!

Beautiful photos! I love the dinosaur balloon. I have never been to the balloon fest, which I should be ashamed of since I only live about a half hour away from where it's held.

Marvelous photos! I would love to attend a balloon rally like that...as a spectator, not as a passenger. :-)

Wonderful images, the range of colours and shapes is wonderful. I have not been to a festival but I have been up in a balloon and it was a fabulous experience. Thanks for the memories!

They're so pretty with all those colors. No, I won't go up in one -- I have acrophobia. My daughter and SIL went in one, and I prayed the whole time they were gone!!!

Wow, you got some fantastic photos there. It does look fun to go to a launching. However, I don't think I would be brave enough to go in one. I think it is awesome that you did. I do think there is a festival near here so I will try to attend one. Thanks for sharing this fun adventure! Blessings and hugs!

Amazing images! I have been to a hot air balloon rally and had the best time photographing it! Our local camera shop was there helping everyone set their camera for a night burn. Very fun!

Wow that is an early start, they are so colorful and such fun shaped ones too! Love those pics of the sun behind, wonderful. Your hubby got a great one of it looking like your holding up the balloon. St. Louis has one here every year and it wasn't too long ago but my hubby is not an early riser since he works evenings so we don't attend to many early morning activities :(
