Good Fences ~ Edition 42 ~

On Tuesday, it snowed at the Jersey Shore!
Now don't get too excited,
we did not get a lot...
I think it's safe to say that I did not need the yard stick to measure it up.

I took a walk around the back yard, let me show you what we got...

 The back fence...

 the rose hips...

a tiny creature lurking around the back yard,
these prints made no sense, what-so-ever to me.

  My vacant bird house...

 the back deck rail...

and the shadows of the deck rail, on the back deck.

 I "heart" the snow...

even if it's just a little!!

How about you guys, who's loving the snow?

Sharing my backyard fences with my good friend
for Good Fences
Stop by and consider joining in the fun, any fence or gate will do!

Wonderful fence series, Debbie.. I like the I heart the snow photo..The footprints and shadow shot are neat! Sometimes the birds will use the houses to keep warm.. They pile in there... Have a happy day, enjoy the snow..

HI Debbie I would if we had some. I loved the walk round your year to see your snow and especially loved the 'heart'. I don't drink 'tea' but I do love 'crusts'! The best part!!

Looks like you got the perfect amount of snow--enough to make everything beautiful, but not enough to have to do serious shoveling! Your bird house is lovely.

No snow in Tampa. Thank goodness. There would be millions of heart attacks.

A dusting, a near-perfect amount for most people. ;)

Your pictures are so beautiful! I love the snow (for about a day or two) and I do miss it, but while being on vacation in the Southwest over Christmas we got quite a bit, and I enjoyed it very much.

Hi Debbie - nice snowy photos! We're hibernating. It's 10 degrees with a wicked wind today. Which translates to about minus 10 windchill factor!! Have a great day :)

I love the snow as much as you do, just don't have any...
Love your pictures with the shades and tracks
and the beautiful birdhouse :))
Have a fine day

Just enough to frost a cake in a most decorative style! I heart the snow too, and especially I heart, hearts carved in snow too!

I enjoyed snow when growing up as we always made the best snow ice cream. Could not do that today tho.

I like seeing the snow from inside the house! We may have a little more accumulation than you, but today, it's all ice!

Those footprints! Wow - must have been a small animal with very long legs!

Love your photo's, Debbie. Cold here today but mostly due to wind. UGH!

Few things are prettier than fresh snow. Our daughter recently moved to Princeton & they got some snow also, making things look more beautiful.

I heart the snow, too. We are currently in Florida and there is no snow here, but I think they got a trace at home where it sounds to me like it's too cold to snow. Love your pics today, especially the bird house.

What some great photos of the snow in your yard. The steps in the snow are very interesting; I do wonder what made them. I loved the heart. The Bird House photo is beautiful. There pictures will make some great graphics.
Blessings and hugs for you! Stay warm~

Hooray for you! I know how much you love snow. The (heart) drawn in the snow is my favorite of your photos here today. Great shots though and you can keep whatever snow you get. Here it's dreary skies but at least the grass is somewhat green!

Very cold. Debbie. Here icy. Snow on the mountain.
Besos.

Just a dusting for you. I love your photographs, Debbie ... so delicate. My favorite is the mystery paw prints. We have a few more inches of snow than you do. It really is a gorgeous sight when it first falls. Currently, we are experiencing 40 mph wind gusts, so all of the snow is swirling and blowing here and there. I could use a big bowl of that glorious potato soup you cooked up in the previous post. Looks delicious!

Beautiful shots! You got more than we did if that tells you anything. :-)

the older I get the more I adhere to 'less is more' when it comes to snow. But it is pretty!

I'm loving NOT having snow, but I've heard people say if it's going to be this cold, there might as well be snow. Those are puzzling prints in your yard. Itty bitty crop circles?
