Good Fences ~ Edition 41 ~

I missed Good Fences #40, last week...
so the hubs took me for a ride in the car this past weekend,
hunting for fences.

After lunch at The Committed Pig
and treats "for later" at the The Scone Pony...

we ended up at the beach,
my very most favorite place in the whole wide world.

Here is a peek at the pretty beaches in Belmar, NJ

Here at the ocean, I am guaranteed to see some good beach fences.

Beach Fences at the Jersey Shore are used for,
snow, sand and dune protection.
Most of the fences were destroyed during Super Storm Sandy,
so these fences are all new.

As we left Belmar, I spotted this "typical" seaside home in
Spring Lake, NJ
The beaches in Spring Lake are also exceptional,
I have shared them with you in the past.

I love the way in which they decorated their pretty white fence.

Sharing these beautiful Jersey Shore fences with my good friend
for Good Fences
Stop by and consider joining in the fun, any fence or gate will do!!

Those Belmar fences look so neat and orderly -- I'm used to seeing them all bent and uneven. I LOVE Spring Lake!!

Loved your beach fence photos and the pretty white fence in the last shot. Yes that was Gregg and our son in my post. I have an app on my IPad called Toon Camera that created the effect. Then I added the speech bubbles in Paint Shop Pro on my old laptop. Isn't your hubby a sweety for taking you out to look for fences? I am so glad you are my friend also Debbie. A Very Happy New Year to you both :-)

How nice to see photos of a beach today! It's like a rest for my eyes from the winter landscapes (which I love, but sometimes you just need to see something different). I love the decorated fence too. Happy New Year to you and Chuck, Debbie!!

I've not seen fences next to the ocean but I have mostly seen the Pacific from Oregon and California. Tis a lovely white fence and decorated so nicely!

We drive up the interstate, get sick, then drive back down the interstate. However! We did make it to the beach on Saturday afternoon. South Seaside Park. Breezy but pretty warm. Left camera in car. This is how I know I was not born to photograph. LOL
Happy New Year, dear Debbie and Hubs!
Love, m & jb

That is so many pretty fences. I would love to decorate my fences that way but I think people would take it. I might try it next year. :)

The beaches are so beautiful and I find the fences interesting. I haven't really ever seen fences on beaches before until you posted pictures of them. I love the Christmas decoration on the home's fence; just lovely. You just take such great photos.
Blessings!
