Turning Away...

I find geese to be extremely friendly.
I think it's because they always believe you are going to feed them.
These guys wonder around a shopping village in
Smithville, New Jersey.
This one was extremely interested in me!!

This next one, not so much.
.

He turned away each time I held up the camera,
he was not interested in a photo session.

Then I realized he was trying to show me his "heart"
He knew I would love it!!

Please stop by and experience the love!!

ps...I hope no one misses the black heart on his back!!

Another little bit of serendipity. But I think some people missed the heart by trying to make one out of tail feathers. lol

Gotta be honest, geese scare me a bit. How could you not love one with a heart though?

Great heart!

On a side note we are heading to the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival May 5th. I'm not sure if you have been to it before. It's my first time, but the rest of my family has been there and loved it. I thought it would be something you might enjoy.

Oh how cute. A great shot is being at the right place at the right time. And Ms. Goose timed it perfectly. Happy Easter.
