Easter Sunday!!

Easter Sunday started with this gorgeous basket...

of flowers from the hubs!!

He never forgets to buy me a card,
the words are always so thoughtful, meaningful and special!!

I made this for Alisa...
I shared a picture of this in another entry,
I am sharing an additional picture because I added purple jelly beans,
and I think it looks better.
She loved it!!

I made this for Alisa also, I ran out of jelly beans,
so I used Easter Grass!!
With tulips from my garden it was really cute,
but I liked the egg carton center piece better!!
I made pasta salad for Mike, instead of an Easter Basket,
it's his favorite!!

Mike's apartment was very festive for Easter!!
I'm fairly certain he had nothing to do with that!!

I made the appetizers and everything was delish!!

Alisa put dinner in the oven and we went for a walk here,

my son is so very lucky to live in an apartment on the ocean.

Here we are, it was awesome to share the day with them!!

Did I find some sea glass, you ask...

you know I did and a couple of special shells
and one pink stone!!

We went back and ate, chicken, roasted potatoes (my favorite)
broccoli, sweet potato casserole topped with peeps,
and delicious garlic bread!!

Pictures you say...oops, I was so excited I forgot!!
Dinner was delicious, she is a very good cook.

We played Wii...it was close, but no cigar for me!!
Next time Mike, I think you should let me win!

Alisa made chocolate mouse, with strawberries,
it was smooth as silk!!

I made cupcakes, they were really good also!!

I was exhausted as we drove home,
but in the best possible way!!

Thanks you two...we really enjoyed spending time with you!!

A delicious and wonderful day!!!! You got nice things and made cute things, and even found sea treasures. :-)

Hope that Mon. and Tues. were devoted to resting up. I think rest should always follow any/all holiday! :-)

She looks like she enjoys the holidays too. Love the pink stone from the beach and agree, the center piece with added jellybeans is better (tho it was great before also)
