Fairfield Arboretum.....

It was early morning on August 4, 2011,
Chuck and I were out and about looking for blog material, adventure,
when "she" caught my eye...

The Flower Girl!!!!

Welcome to The Fairfield Arboretum, what an interesting place.

An Arboretum is a collection of trees...

A botanical garden containing living collections
of woody plants intended at least partly for scientific study.

The gardens were gorgeous...

there were wildflowers everywhere...

This was my favorite spot!

It was too early for the fruit stand to be open,

where it looks like they sell lots of local, home grown goodies!

Peaches were growing abundantly, all over the property......
I wanted one sooooo badly, a souvenir of sorts!!!
But I was able to control myself and just enjoy the beauty of the
gorgeous peach trees.

How did I not know about this amazing place,
tucked away beautifully on the country roads
not 10 minutes from home.

Stay tuned.....we will definitely be returning
here for some home grown goodies.
I have a feeling, this will prove to be an amazing find!!!!
