Infusion Friday

I don't usually post about MS, the fact that I have it or that it sometimes interferes with my life. I don't really like to think about it...talk about it or write about it. It has had a profound impact on my life and the lives of everyone around me. I was diagnosed 8 years ago but I have lived with symptoms my entire adult life. I have been unable to walk, I have walked with a walker and with a cane....now I walk "free" and it feels awesome.

So getting back to the title of this post, today was infusion Friday. Every 4th Friday, we go to CentraState Hospital and I receive an infusion of Tysabri.....it has saved my life. Today I received my 39th infusion, that means I have done this for more then 3 years. Today I received my infusion in our new infusion suite....suite, that sounds fancy, shamancy. Well it is and today after 39 infusions, I finally took pictures to share on my blog.......

An infusion suite. :-) It looks like a very comfortable, cheery kind of place.

It's amazing, how medicine has changed over the decades...
