What's Goin' On...

 They say,
"To Plant A Garden Is To Believe In Tomorrow".
And I believe in tomorrow.
I only have a few house plants, just enough for a little color...
and not too many that I loose track of them.
I don't have wide window sills, so I have to rely on tables by windows,
but I have plenty of windows and tons of natural sunlight.

Kalanchoe
I purchased this last year, last winter maybe, and it has done very well.

Cyclamen
I have had this plant for probably 15 years,
right now, it has a lot of healthy great leaves, and 5+ buds & flowers.

I always plant Paper Whites this time of year.
I was not able to find them on-line with good reviews so I purchased this,

Apple Blossom Amaryllis instead.

It's all planted and with any luck...

it will look like this when it blooms.

My Basil pot is empty, I need to plant some new Basil seeds.

Next up...

Homemade Bacon & Egg Biscuits
I have made them before and they are so yummy in the morning,
no cheese, we prefer these without cheese.

We recently watched
Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn & Reese Witherspoon
I had forgotten how funny this movie was.

We have found a new game that I love,

An App. you download on your phone,
it will provide hours of fun and laughter.
Look it up, it is amazing!

I finished Kalmin's new hat and the hubs mailed it for me last week.
You may remember the hat I made for him was
accidentally washed and dried in their machines by his loving dad
who was trying to help out with the laundry.
The Pom-Pom was fine so mom will sew that on the new hat when it arrives.

Biscuits?..........I'm on my way! ha ha LOL. Love your pretty houseplants. Couldn't believe it when my Mom had a cyclamen growing INSIDE HER HOUSE in a pot. Because I didn't know they did that.......we grow them in pots and in flower beds here, LOL! Wherever they are, they are pretty. We put our first ones in last year I think it was, and they are doing great and now blooming again. Have a great day my friend!!

I remember that movie! The first time we saw it was with Amber and Mike when they lived in Katy, Texas. Amber came out of the theater in a bad mood! Seems that was too close to home for her! Both my ex husband and I have remarried so Amber could relate to trying to juggle all the Christmas visits in and not hurt anyone’s feelings! Having the quads further complicated it! She has figured it out now and Thanksgiving night as well as Christmas Day are at her house and family is invited but she’s not trying to be everywhere!
I always love your photos no matter what they are!

Hello Debbie, Your yellow plant is pretty, yellow always brightens any room. It seems you can turn your hand to anything.

We kept an amaryllis bulb for years. It bloomed every spring. Love them.

how wonderful to have so many blooming plants, especially this time of year. I haven't seen that movie, fun to rewatch a movie you can really enjoy! I think I saw people playing that game with an I pad, would be neat to be able to carry it with you at all time.

I love the hat you sent off. I keep hoping to learn how and do some for children and or grandchildren. I will look up the Heads Up game it sounds like a good one. We could use some laughs around here.
That homemade Egg and Bacon sandwich looked so yummy. I must do this one.
Your in house plants are lovely. I really like the yellow Kalanchoe. The Cyclamen is beautiful. I do have a plant we have had for 15 years. It has grown very bug. I will have to take a photo of it sometime.
Sending loving thoughts and hugs!

my camera is on the older side but i love it. it's a nikon coolpix b700. it's easy to handle, it photographs like a dsl but you do not have to change lenses.
