The Deck Is Done...

and I could not be more excited!

Doesn't it look beautiful?

The post caps have solar lights on them and it looks wonderful at night.

The next time we have sunshine to power then, I will share a photo of how nice they look at night.

This Mockingbird "anointed" the deck, shortly after it was finished!

We love to grill...

and I am so happy to have the grill back up on the deck.

We had our first grilled meal, steaks with a shallot - bacon jam.

This was a delicious meal!

The deck is a beauty, Debbie. Great job! Lots of enjoyment in store! The solar lights are great. Our daughter has them on her front deck.

The deck looks fantastic! They did a great job despite what the mockingbird thinks! No doubt you're happy to have it done. Tell Chuck to look into Blackstone grills - they're awesome.

Hello Debbie!

Your new deck looks beautiful. Your Mockingbird picked out it's favorite spot to perch or anoint, lol.
The grilled steak looks yummy! Take care, stay safe! Have a happy new week!

I too love your wraparound deck, Debbie. I was wondering if it was covered, but I think I can see that it is in some sections. Enjoy! And Happy 2021!

You know I was going to ask because in one of your earlier post it looked like I could see the deck through the window and it looked done, it looks great, is that composite deck? We are trying to decide what we should do with ours this next spring. Had to laugh that one of the birds had to break it in right away :) Bet it feels great to have everything just the way you want it once again!
