Keeping Busy

Continuing from Mondays post, and because I don't have much else to write about,
I decided to put together a "binder ring" of our past Christmas Cards.

I was only able to find the last 6 cards,
but better they are here together and I will add to this each year!

Just a hole punched in the corner of each card...

attached together with a binder ring,
it looks extra special and pretty if you tie ribbons on the binder ring.

I started a new knitting project...

this is the first time I found my own pattern,
my own yarn and started a knitting project on my own with out asking Leanne any questions.
I know she will be happy for me.

I keep all the information on each knitting project in my
- live a life you love -
book,

I think it is coming along nicely.

A Shawlette
hopefully, it will look like this when it is done.

I really like the way the edge looks.

I watched my "snowing" DVD all day,

it rained today, I am still hoping for snow!

Oh my Debbie. You need to live in the snow belt since you love snow so much. I don’t care if we ever see a flake.

Great idea to have all your cards together and can easily be added to. Your new project looks like it is going to be very pretty!
Oh you poor thing you want snow so bad you have to watch a DVD, sure looks pretty with that sun shining through. We are getting a snowfall today, 1-2 inches. Started around 8am this morning and is supposed to snow until around 3. We won't warm up until tomorrow afternoon so it should last a little bit, Greg wants to get out there and get pictures. I will be staying home in the warmth.

I really like the green , Debbie. I bought a new jacket (actually it's a snowboarding jacket) which is longer so it keeps my "bum" warm. Your green is the green in my coat. I believe it was called "trellis". It snowed here yesterday, last night and a bit this morning which made our scenery look refreshed for a little while anyway....jp

That really is a cute idea with the cards. I keep all the photo cards that come in... so I have the ones from year to year together. Our next door neighbors moved in 6 years ago, got married, had twin girls, and now the girls are 5 years old. Looking at the cards is fun. Hooking them together as you did is a great idea.

What a great idea to put those Christmas cards in the ring binder. I will do the same now. Thanks for the ideas.

Hello Debbie! What a nice idea to keep your Christmas cards in a ring binder,... they seem to be all photos of you and hubby! I make Christmas labels out of the ones we receive, not a new idea, but it's fun doing it.

That's a good idea for the Christmas cards.

I think we are going to be getting more rain!
Perhaps you may get your snow soon!

All the best Jan
