Great Falls National Park

This was our first visit to
Located in Paterson, New Jersey, with an interesting history and culture,
the falls are only a few steps from the parking lot, making it easy for everyone to see them.
It was a cloudy day,
but that did not take away from our enjoyment of the beauty or the mist from the falls.

This was a large, very cool, seating area.

A beautiful mural but I did not understand or agree with the quote.
Thank you Marie for researching this...
if any of you are interested, you can read about the poem and its author, Ginsberg, here.

We stayed for about an hour or so...
they have a really nice picnic area, I would like to come back in the spring for a picnic.

Aren't the old brick buildings beautiful! And the waterfalls are amazing. Nice to get photos of the two of you too! Lots of smiles while you're all bundled up. Have you ever read any of David Rosenfelt's books? He is one of my FAVORITE authors and my husband and I both read every book he writes. Anyway...he writes about Paterson, NJ in every book! Enjoy your day my friend!

This is a wonderful place. Just gorgeous. I can imagine the sound of the water.

I looked up that quote about “the weight of the world” and found this... https://www.hopesingssobeautiful.org/index.php/2017/05/17/the-weight-of-the-world-is-love/

Beautiful poem!

Hello, The waterfalls and Autumn colors are beautiful. There is a Great Falls National Park in Virginia and Maryland too. It is always nice to see yours and your hubby's smiling faces in the photos too. Enjoy your day!

The falls are gorgeous! Love the bridge! I would imagine it's wonderful with snow on the ground, too.

Wow that is gorgeous, didn't know it was up there. How nice that you didn't have to walk far to see it, seems like everywhere we go I have to hike a mile to see something. It's pretty with the fall color but I bet it is nice in the spring too!

I really loved the photos on this one. I love waterfalls. We do have some here in Utah, but you have to hike to get to them. Therefore, we haven't seen some of them for many years. There are some lovely falls up in Idaho that we have been able to see.
Thanks for sharing these awesome photos of them. I always love the photos of you two.
Blessings and hugs!
