I adore Autumn,
and the word Autumn sounds so much prettier than Fall, doesn't it?
Pumpkins, mums, apple cider and hooded sweatshirts,
there is nothing about Autumn that I don't love.
Walks in the woods, leaves crunching beneath your feet,
pumpkin foods and comfort food.
Autumn also means a new...
Autumn means pretty Fall Wreaths...
A decorated front porch...
And pretty pumpkins scattered about the house.
Gentle reminders all over the house...
It's Autumn - the most beautiful time of the year!
I made this counted cross stitch many years ago,
when my boys were little and my hands allowed me to cross stitch,
and before I became obsessed with knitting.
It is a favorite of mine!

Hello, your Autumn decorations are lovely. I like the porch and your pumpkins around the house. I guess you are working on that Autumn bucket list. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day and the week ahead!
Love all your Autumn decorations Debbie and enjoyed the bucket list. A very pretty cross stitch too.
Pretty wreath!!
Love your cross stitch!!
Your cross stitch is beautiful, Debbie. You did a great tribute to this wonderful season!
Your home looks wonderful all decorated for Autumn, and yes I do like that better than Fall:) Looks like a fun list to complete, did you manage to get your summer list all done? Love your little cross-stitch, after I finished my nephews cross-stitching I haven't done anything else. That light plate is awesome, great find that was! Good luck on finishing everything on your Autumn to do list!
I love the idea of a seasonal bucket list. I have been doing mine monthly. So glad you are knitting!!! Xoxo Andrea @ This Knitted Life
I love your list and your decorating. It is so pretty. I picked pumpkins today. I can't wait to get them all ready to bring in the house. Have a lovely day.
Oh, Debbie, your home always looks so beautiful!
It's beginning (fingers crossed) to be a tad cooler here. :)
xoxo
Your home is always so tastefully decorated. Thanks for allowing me a peak inside now and then.
Now, are all these pics, other than your lovely cross-stitch, from Pinterest? Or did I misunderstand? Which is VERY possible. -grin-
We got apple cider at the apple farm and it is sooooo delicious. have to go back and get more!!!!!
Yes, Autumn sounds so much prettier than Fall!!!!!!!! :-)
How beautiful!
Increasingly, I agree with you. And certainly so far this year, it's been beautiful.
It looks like you're ready for autumn! The pretty wreath reminds me I need to see if last year's will work, or if I need to be in search of a new one. Love that pretty red teapot!
I concur, lovely Debbie, that Autumn is a most beautiful word. Down here, the beautiful season of glorious hues is called Autumn. Your home is looking beautifully autumnal. The cross stitch is beautiful. I would imagine such a lot of effort went into this pretty. Love the red kettle sitting atop the stove. I can almost hear it whistling away.
I also need autumn bucket list :)
the sross stitch is very beautiful debbie. I am off to Malawi tomorrow to visit , but have scheduled posts in but will not be commenting
One great thing about autumn is the availability of Honey Crisp apples (for a reasonable price). They are the best. They are available year round but were recently $5.99/lb (or kg, not sure), but now they are $2.99.
I can see Autumn is very welcome in your home! Love your bucket list, sooo much to see and do!!
Have a wonderful autumnal Wednesday :)
there was an entire blog post about that red teapot. it "doesn't" match the kitchen, it was way too expensive...and i bought it anyway. i LOVE it and now i love that it doesn't match!!
It really is a wonderful time of year, and it's been unseasonably warm here, which has been very, very nice.
I just love your wreath. So pretty.
xo.
I love the gentle Autumn reminders that you have all over your home. I think that the fall colors are warm and inviting. I love Autumn; it is a favorite time of year.
I really liked your bucket list. I do like how the two of you enjoy your life of adventure. Once upon a time I did cross stitches too; it was fun. I am hoping to get back to crocheting something wonderful. Blessings and hugs for you!
Fabulous Autumn decorations, I too love this season.
All the best Jan
I like your autumn bucket list and that pretty painted light switch plate/cover.
