The Road To Rhinebeck...

Leanne drove my car to Rhinebeck, her car does not have air conditioning...
I would have melted.
She's a great driver, she stops for "stuff" and she is a great companion trespasser.
Yep, she is super cool.

I am pretty sure Leanne noticed this and asked if I wanted to stop?
ummm "do bears shit in the woods - YES"

We stopped, we took pictures and half way through our "farm tour" we stumbled upon live people.
I asked if it was ok if we looked around, and quickly mentioned that we loved the "art".
Of course they said yes and we are trespassing no more!!

Art made with recycled trash, it was so fun to stand in front of these "sculptures"
to find and name that junk.

First The Magic Dragon...

Mixed Media Sculpture made with recycled items.

I photographed this sign but never read it.
I remember Leanne saying something about private property...
she must have read the sign but she happily followed along anyway.
Can you believe that girl...hehehe!!

Next there was a Horse...

Lastly an Elephant...

that Leanne was happy to pose with!

We stumbled on this hole in the wall burger joint
Voted The Best Hidden Gem Burger Joint by Hudson Valley Magazine
and I could not agree more.
These burgers, with their special sauce, were amazing.

When we hit this bridge, we were close to our Rhinebeck home...

and Leanne slowed down, so I could get pictures!!

More tomorrow - lot's more tomorrow...
I took 210 pictures...but, no, I'm not sharing "all" of them!!

-grin- Never read signs. It helps, when one needs a completely innocent look, on one's face. ,-0.

Most people are afraid to drive someone else's car--bless Leanne's heart!!!
Interesting art pieces, but my favorite photos are those of the scenery, the lakes, hills and trees.

I enjoyed that stop very much. I love yard art made like that. Trying to get my brother into doing things like that. He saves scrap metal and I think between the two of us we could produce some cool stuff. A few years back I met a local metal artist through a guy I was dating. Check out his work here at https://pam-lifethroughmyeyes.blogspot.com/2014/05/major-hall-metal-artist.html I think you will like his work. Let me know what you think. I so wanted to do stuff like this but when I saw his work I decided that me being this creative was a joke!

Wow, I love that recycled art to bits!! Such creativity, plus it's interesting working out what all the components once were. Love the elephant especially.
Isn't it beaut to have a decent hamburger! I reckon I could do justice to that meal too ;D)

I enjoy so much your unique adventures. I am amazed at how you find special items to photograph. These were particularly fascinating and creative pieces of art using recycled stuff. I did like the elephant and your friend is lovely, also.
The Bridge photos were awesome. I of course, liked the photo of the food. I would soooo love a good cheese burger and fries. My mouth is watering!
Blessings and hugs for this one!

Wow those sculptures are awesome. The Elephant was my favorite. Atleast these people didn't call the Police on you. (See my post for today). - The bridge shot was neat and the burgers sounded yummy. Such fun you have.
