It's Halloween!!

I'm so excited, today is Halloween and I cannot wait to see all the
little ghosts and goblins that come to visit me.

I am ready,
I bought my candy weeks ago...it went right in to my special Halloween bowl
and has been sitting next to the front door since I bought it.

This year, I added drive around and look at Halloween decorations to the Fall Bucket List.
And as busy as we have been, we got to cross that off!!

Who loves Halloween - Do you get a lot of trick-or-treaters?

Hello, if we had candy here my hubby would end up eating it. I love all the Halloween decorations, we did not decorate here. We live in a rural area, kids would have to be driven to each house to knock on the doors. Happy Halloween, enjoy your day!

Wow! Great decorations around your area.

As for your question, we get 100s, so we gave up altogether. We live in townies, which many people seem to feel is a good a good idea to parachute their non-neighbourhood kids to pick up lots of treats in short order. It p1$$e$ me off.

"parachute their non-neighborhood kids" hehehehe, we get that here too, but without them, i would not get too many!!! and if i am going to be honest, i don't really get too many!!

WOW! Double wow! Triple wow!

These people do go allllll outttttt for decorating!!!!!

Tell me, how do the kids get past that HUGE spider, to get to front door?????????????????

Repeat WOW!!!!

Oh, it's just woods across the street, from just 3 houses. So no, we don't get many little kids. that woods is part of the college campus, so we get quite a few college students, walking by. Guess they must be Freshmen as they dress up in cute kinda' home made costumes.

Happy Haunting!

You are gonna make some little ghosts and goblins so happy with the candy.
Love all the Halloween pics also. :)

Nope, not any will be here, but I can't wait to see pics of my greats later!

How cool are those, I can't believe that spider that takes up the whole side walk, loved seeing them lit up too :)
We have had less and less trick or treaters here the last couple of years, not many people do it on our block so I guess they don't feel it is worth bothering coming down here, we do get a few that the parents drive them around, so they just drop off in front of the house. So cute to see the different costumes that they come up with :)

We have had ONE trick-or-treater in all our years of living in our house. We didn't have candy ready and Rick was home alone at the time so he gave her a granola bar!!! LOL. I had to laugh at that one. We head over to Andee's neighborhood for our trick-or-treating. It's one of my favorite days of the year!

We do not get trick or treaters. Never. Its so sad. Thank goodness my grands come by but not this year as they all have colds. I still bought candy just in case someone braves our scary driveway. Those decorations are amazing.

WOW--you guys out there really do it up big.
Personally, I am probably the only person in the US who hates Halloween to the max!
Never liked it as a kid--still don't.

I love those decorations, no one around here really does anything like that.

Boy, your town does it up well. In comparison it's a quiet holiday here.

Great post! Love the drive around photos you got.
We had fun tonight. Actually, Ruth Ann and I had fun all day long!
I wore a witch's hat (bad hair day) and all black.
I would love to see you Bucket List for Winter! You have inspired me and I have actually been able to cross off several things on my Fall list!

Your photos are fantastic Debbie. A fun Halloween for sure. We didn’t get as many as last year, kids are growing up I guess. We have a lot of candy left over, uh-oh, lol. My sister-in-law got 300 at their door but they live in a busy area on the west coast.

Oh my goodness, I am scared! But also loving every single photo and I'm going to review them all! You are so lucky to have this in walking distance too. We live in the country so we don't have quite so much. But my children's neighborhoods go all out!

Wow, awesome home decorations. It looks like they really go all out. I think it is so cute that you are so prepared for the Halloween trick or treat moments. Your bowl is adorable too. You are such a fun person and I would love to meet you someday.
