The hubs is in charge of planting the Spring bulbs.
Every year, in the Fall, he plants the "all important"
tulip and daffodil bulbs.
I hope you did not miss that entry in November but just in case you did,
you can read all the dirty details here.
I promised a Spring reveal, so here it is!!
Drum roll...drum roll please...
The big picture...
a close up of the center garden.
The little boy at the beach...he has a pail and a shovel.
Around the mailbox, out by the street.
It's just gorgeous!!
The dogwood tree and azalea's are starting to wake up as well!!
On a side note, the hubs built this house back in the early 1980's.
We were married maybe 5 years when he came home and told me he
had purchased a piece of property.
One acre, on a winding river, in a cul-de-sac.
He said he was going to build our dream home. He did.
We have been calling this place home for 29 years.

And on another side note, doesn't the new roof look a little wavy?!
I'm not sure why it looks that way in the pictures.
In real life, it looks great!!
The hubs will be reading the comments, don't go over-board!!

Oh come on now... give the guy some credit. The tulips are a beautiful addition to your lovely landscaping!!!
Boy, nice house! Having built our own cabin here, I know what a challenge it is to build your own house. Congratulations. Ended up looking very good too. Oh, and the tulips are nice too.
Up here, tulips are called "Deer Candy" and are an endangered species! :-{
Master builder, master gardener!
gosh, just GORGEOUS! that chuck does good work! :)
Beautiful, brilliant colors! You have a gorgeous place!
Well, he deserves to be proud -- the gardens are gorgeous! We have a problem with squirrels digging many of our bulbs, so we need 'fillers.'
And he gardens too???????
I mean, we're talking the whole package here, Debbie!
Way to go, Chuck.
You are awesome, and everything looks so gorgeous!!!
Lol. He did an amazing job on the bulbs. I like the color selection he chose.
Just lovely! Beautiful home and landscaping.
The flowers are beautiful!!! Your house is beautiful! I want to live in my dream home on a winding river too.
Since your hubs is reading this I will say that he did a magnificent job on your home. It is beautiful. I think you should keep him for another 30 years or so as the two of you together in photos look so good together!
Beautiful flowers too!
Oh I have been waiting to see the spring bulbs since seeing him planting them last fall. They are beautiful! God job Chuck and Mother Nature! You are a great team! Debbie, your photos are amazing! I am so glad you share with us.
Hey Chuck, we planted bulbs also, but the moles ate all but one and it didn't bloom.
Oh! I hope it isn't going overboard to tell your husband that this post delighted me. We don't see tulips and daffodils anymore because they don't grow in Florida -- and by the time we get back to Oregon they are already gone. We used to have them in our yard there before we sold but never as gorgeous as yours are! Love the yellow and red combo. And the dream house... your hubby is multi-talented!
ok, some horns needs to be tootin' here ... sorry Debbie ... but i have to say my peace. wow-weee!! that is one gorgeous yard. someone has been working so hard. awesome work husband. you go!! i think the roof just has to do with the color & playing with your eyes. i took a class about that ... our eyes & ear hear & see things that maybe others see differently ... it is all how we catch it. so amazing in my book. a real science. so i wish you to enjoy the view & to thank your hubby for the amazing & totally awesome work. you should enter a contest to win the best all around yard. that would be fun!! can't wait to see more flower views, purdy please. ( :
we have had lots of rain the last 2 days ... i say these views have brighten my day & mood. thanks!!
You have a lovely home and yard.
What a lucky girl you are! He plants flowers and builds your dream house. The landscaping is absolutely gorgeous!! I could say more, but I don't want to "go overboard" with my praise. :)
