On the final day of The Cherry Blossom Festival, they have a parade!
Did someone say parade, oohhhhh that's my favorite.
The hubs, not so much, but he was so happy to arrange for a special car,
to take us right to the area and pick us up afterward,
only a few blocks away.

Good thing we had our own "chariot", the parade area was crowded...
and when I say crowded,
you have never seen a crowd like this.
But....I loved it.
Two hours of amazing colors, music, funny and happy peeps.
Did I take a lot of pictures,
you bet I did.

Sit back, relax and enjoy...it was such a happy parade.

It was an EGGseptionally beautiful parade!!(wink, wink!) On what looks like a perfect day!! I especially loved the covered wagon! And I think seeing people marching in unison is fascinating...Thanks so much for sharing all this - my dislike for crowds would win out over my love for parades...so I'm glad I have you!

What a beautiful, colorful, festive parade! I'm not sure which I like best! The Belles in their fluffy gowns are so pretty, and I always love a panda... So much to see! You captured it beautifully!
Yes, a really delightful parade! Oh, how it celebrates spring! Love the white dresses with the pink sashes, and every touch of pink throughout! Love the balloons and floats and the girls in their confection southern belle dresses! Beautiful!

So much to see. I loved the Balloons, The Men in Uniform, Those gorgeous southern dresses on the pretty girls, the clowns, the bands, the horses....well just the whole doggone parade! What fun.
