Season's Greenings...

From the United States Botanic Gardens!
This place is gorgeous...
The Garden Court is adorned with hand crafted representations
of the National Mall Monuments.
Each unique building is crafted from more than 70 different plant materials.
Pine Cone Scales, Willow, Screw Pods, Grapevine Tendrils
Acorns and Acorn Caps, to name just a few!!

Now let's get to the good stuff, pictures!!

 The Washington Monument

The Botanic Gardens

The US Capital...

and here we are, in front of The Capital

 The U.S. Supreme Court

We had such a fun afternoon, strolling around the
oldest Botanic Gardens in North America.

If you get the opportunity, visit Washington D.C. at Christmas time,
it is just so beautiful here and there is so much to see and do.

How cool are those buildings! That's neat that they're made of plant material.

Such a sweet photo of you two holding hands. :-)

... and with security around the White House as it is, I imagine this would be as close as you two would be able to get. Beautiful! xo

oh wow! How beautiful! My dad's an architect...and when I was little it was the models he built of all his projects that were always the most fascinating to me! These are spectacular!
