oohhhhh deer!!

If you follow my blog, you know how passionate I am about deer.

I spotted this beauty right along our bike path,
during our ride on Monday.

So very close to the edge of the path,

this one was so friendly
and more then willing to pose for pictures.

I am always so surprised how tame these deer seem to be at Allaire,
I loved the light in this last image, as he wandered off.

I love that you caught him licking his lips! And agree with you about the light in that last shot...also - I wish I looked that good from that angle ;-)

I saw a bunch of deer out in a horse field the other day. The horse was staring at them and the deer were staring at the horse. It would have been a very funny picture and I thought of you. I know you would have turned around for the picture.

We've been seeing quite a few on our Back 6, as we call it. I think they have been nibbling on one of my rose bushes. The pesky brats. Great shots!

These are lovely pictures of the deer. I love deer also. Many years ago we used to go deer hunting. Then my husband and I decided to just go with our extended family and not hunt them but just enjoy the outdoors. While living in Washington we had a lovely home that had a wetland below us so we got a lot of animals that visited our property. I love nature and I do love dear.
Blessings!

I think it was waiting just for you.
I love the photos of the deer and I love the dappled light from the trees. You captured it perfectly.

What great photos you got! We have lots of deer that come into our yard, mostly at night. If I open the door to the porch, they hear and run off. I haven't caught a good photo yet. Thank you for sharing your passion!

They are my very favorite animals, even when they eat every single bud from my magnolia bushes!

These are beautiful, Debbie.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Great shot, they are such graceful animals. Saw a newborn fawn yesterday in the ditch line. And of course my camera was at home.

They are beautiful. And you did some great shout :)

The calf has started to come now. I hope I can get some picture on them.
I have them in my yard.
Most of deer here at home.

Wow you got some great shots. I love deer too and enjoy going for drives up in the local mountains to see if I can spot any.
