I put peanuts out for the birds this morning,
the squirrels never caught on and the birds got to eat all of them.
The Tufted Titmouse only takes one half.
The Blue Jay has one in the chamber and one in the beak.
He's such a pig!!
It's hard to tell just how tiny the Titmouse is,
but if your a bird lover you already know.
Here he scores one and a half before flying off.
The Catbirds were happy with only a half,
and this little youngin' just hadn't a clue...
So this is what's happening in my neck of the woods.
I'm sharing it with

Packing peanuts, indeed. Please tell me you gave that little clueless one a private breakfast!
I agree,Blue jays are pigs. They will work hard to get just one more peanut into that bill.Great captures.
I can't believe the squirrels missed their breakfast. Lucky little birds.
Cute! They do love the peanuts. I love seeing the titmice with them. Great photos!
Adorable! I hope they thanked you for the yummy treat.
Excellent bird shots Debbie!
That last little one is a cutie!
Who needs the movies with this cast of characters to entertain you?! Do you snack on popcorn while you're watching??
Those pictures are too cute... What a camera you have...
Amazing photos. Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful colored birds in your country. For the birds your garden is like a restaurant Debbie.
Fantastic shots, Debbie! The peanut looks too big for the Titmouse, but I'm sure it managed. Jays can be quite the food hogs. I'm surprised the squirrels didn't get them first.
Nice photos:-) beautifully captured birds :-)
Very cute. My favorite is the lat hopeless and clueless bird. He is too cute. Have a great weekend.
