soft, fluffy, light powdery snow.
As the evening progressed, the storm laid a blanket of white crystals on everything it touched.
Encapsulating each and every branch, twig and stem on every single tree and shrub.
- it was mesmerizing -
It had not stopped snowing before we climbed in to bed.
It snowed all night and we woke up to fierce, blizzard-like conditions, and it was still snowing.
Travel Plans were changed or cancelled, schools, food stores, pharmacy's and gas stations were closed.
A travel ban was put into place, preventing the use of all roads in New Jersey.

We took this measurement before the snow stopped.
We documented that we received 24 - 26 inches of snow during this storm.
The yardstick never lies.
I am feeling better today, but I did not venture outside for pictures.
