My "Go To" Places!!

Do you have spots like these?
Secret spots that draw you to them when you have some free time and want to go for a ride or a walk.
Howe Street Beach in Bayhead is one of mine.
Blue skies, white sand, salt air and tranquility that's what this beach means to me.

Each season the beach is decorated to reflect the current holiday.

The water was so calm on this day in mid October...

and the beach was empty, all of the vacationers have gone home.

- all I needed was a good dose of vitamin sea -

A walk around Spring Lake is my go to place. Always makes me happy!

I have several places like that, but how lucky you are that the ocean and this wonderful beach are your local go-to spot! It's so beautiful and I love the holiday decorations. (I remember from some of your earlier posts as well.). And how very special it is now that the tourists have mostly left -- it's like your own private beach almost.

Hello Debbie,
Love the decorations, they are so cute. If I lived closer to the beach, it would be my go to spot. The beach is a happy place. Your photos are lovely.
Take care, have a great day!

Although I am from NJ, I'm not familiar with this beach. I looked it up and "sea" that it is near Point Pleasant of which I am very familiar . I love the seasonal orange shell decoration and the photos make me yearn for the sea. Thanks for sharing them. Soon, I will be on my way to Florida on the beach for the winter and will remember that the ocean is a dose of Vitamin C.. so clever and so true.

My "go to" spot is totally opposite of yours. Mine would be an isolated woods or slough with no one else within miles. But, I can just imagine the peace and tranquility as you listen to the surf and wind, washing away all the stresses of your day.
