Bye, Bye Maple Tree...You Will Be Missed

You may remember the big, beautiful maple tree that dropped a huge branch on our house.
Doing a little bit of damage to the roof, gutters and soffit & fascia,
the tree had to be removed before the damage could be repaired.

We also had the Dogwood Tree in our front center garden removed.
I can't tell you how much I will miss that tree...planted when we built this house,
but it was dying and only 3 or 4 branches would bloom in the spring.

These guys were awesome!

Here you can see just how big the tree was...

They made quick work of things and before we knew it,
the tree was down.

They were really hard workers, no one was standing around,
and they cleaned up everything.
They did a great job.

Here's the house before...

and now after!
And look how green our grass is on the 17th of December!

Hi Ruth S - Barlow Flower Farm is located at 1014 Sea Girt Avenue in Sea Girt
Linda in Kansas - We bring the food in at night, and so far,
our daytime critters have not gotten into the treats we leave for our delivery people.

Hello Debbie

It is sad to have to have any tree cut down, but if it is too close to your house and causes damage, it would have to go. They workers look very professional and did a great job. Happy weekend to you!

Sorry to see it go, but I can see how it damaged the house. It's for the best. Plant new trees! 😊

Always sad to lose a tree... especially one that has been around a long time. And we bring any food in that we leave out for the ferals at night also, Debbie.

That was quite the project! I bet it was sad to see the tree go but it really does open up yard and house. Are you going to plant another tree to replace it?

It is always good when you have a good experience with workers. It sure does open things up doesn't it, do you get more light in the house now? I am sure they will be missed, we got a disease in the two trees out in our front yard and had to cut them down, it has been a few years now and I am use to the way it looks now.

Those trees will be missed, they added so much beauty to your yard. I hope you will plant new trees in spring. I admire tree removal workers, they are brave guys.

I know you needed to have it done but it does make you sad to see a big tree come down. We've had some taken out on the golf course behind us and my neighbor hates it so much, she leaves for the day! You have a beautiful home. Enjoy your weekend!

That's gonna make a big difference! It's amazing what those arborists can do.

It looks so much better without the tree and is safer.
