A Ride To Seaside...

Seaside, is a beach community 1/2 hour south of us, it is not a town we visit too often.
But yesterday was cloudy, cool for the pool, so we decided to go for a ride,
in a different direction, Seaside was our choice.
At the price of gas, we must be out of our minds, but off we went, sightseeing.

On the ride to Seaside, we saw a lot of pretty homes along the many lagoons.

Beautifully manicured lawns, I liked this idea of hanging the flower pots from the fence.

- this was a popular mailbox, we saw at least 3 -

Anchors on the front lawn were popular.

We passed a lot of parks like this one with a long pier for fishing.

This family of 5 left as we were walking around.
I asked them if they caught much? They said they caught a lot of crabs but released them.
The hubs asked the little one if she had fun...
her face lit up, "yes" she said.

It seems they caught a nice memory, they had not released that!

Kayaks and small boats lined the tall grasses.

- it doesn't matter where you go, it's who you have beside you -

Beautiful outing to such a picturesque town. I really like the photos of the family with the sailboats as the background, and of course the kayaks and the small boats in the tall grasses.

I know what you mean about the gas prices and deciding where to go. It sure does look like a fun town to explore that's for sure. I like the flowers on the fence like that too! I love the tall grass on the beach, and the cool anchors for yard decorations!
