Progress Post...

We are making grand progress on the new building.
This is the 6th and final building we are building in the small business park we have created.
Six buildings, +- seven acres, not all buildings are the same size,
but they all look the same, more-or-less.
We have a lot of tenants, most are really nice and most pay their rent on time.
Most have been with us a really long time.
This new building is already rented, current tenants, whose businesses are growing,
and they need more space.

So...lets get to the pictures...

This is the front.
All of the outside work is done, the outside of the building will need a little cleaning,
and we will hire a sweeper to clean up the parking lot.

This is the back of the building, 10,000 S.F.

Inside, the framed out area to the left will be an office and bathroom.

The exposed 2 x 4's will be covered with plywood and painted white.

Office and bathroom.

These next pictures are of a different building,
similar in looks, that happen to catch fire while we were building the other.
As I said, all of the buildings have the same look.

We finally got the go ahead to demolish this building.
Tuesday the work started and by today, Thursday, they should be done.
The hubs has been supervising the demolition.

Working with our insurance company,
and the insurance companies of the four tenants who had a complete loss,
has been a very slow go.
Almost 2 months later, now the real work begins, the rebuild!

Devastating for you and Chuck and all the people who rented your spaces. Happy to hear things are moving in the right direction.
The buildings are first class, you can tell the skill that went into them.

The new building looks well done, Debbie. It must be a relief to be able to start replacing the other one finally.

I love the after pics so much better!!
My home burned in 1983 - we had to completely gut it and start over. My heart goes out to you and all you and Chuck - and your tenants have been through. Insurance is crucial but it's still so very overwhelming!
God bless you both as the work continues.

Your new building looks fantastic. I feel so sad about the one that burned down, but happy that you can now start to rebuild. I can imagine how stressful this must have been. I am so happy that the work can begin again.
More blessings and hugs for you both for all the hard times and work!

Gosh, the devastation the fire reaped on your building would be heartbreaking. I can just imagine all the problems you have had with insurance companies, demolishing etc etc. So glad for you that things are beginning to fall into place....such a lot of work! Your new building is looking great. 'Tis good you have tenants whose businesses are thriving in these economically tough times.
