Post Christmas

Christmas was wonderful!
I wish I had taken a picture of my Christmas table,
with all the food and special touches I added to it, it really looked so pretty.

I did remember to take a picture of my roasted stuffed chicken,
it was so good!

I received this picture from my niece,
Kalmin wearing the hat I made for him, he loved it.
This little boy never stops smiling
and is the happiest baby I have ever known.

We started this puzzle over Thanksgiving,
we had the boarder done and only a few other pieces.
I have this yellow mat kit,
with a blow up piece that lays on the puzzle so you can roll it up.
You can get one here, a Puzzle Roll-Up Mat kit.
It runs around $ 25.00, but is well worth it and it works great!

After we had the boarder done, we worked from the middle out,
we determined the scarf might be easiest to start with and it was.

Youngest son Mike is still here and is a puzzle guru!

This is where we are now,
when the house gets quiet, I sneak in to the kitchen,
and find one or both of them working on it.
They are "hooked" to say the least!

Last night we watched Klaus on Netflix, what a great movie...

if you have the chance, watch it!

Thanks so much Angie for telling me about it!

We are opening gifts and having our Christmas meal tonight. Between work and family traveling, this is the first day we can get together.

Great pics, Debbie! That is one happy baby! I'll have to check out 'Klaus" - we watched the Downtown Abbey movie Christmas day (DH gave me the DVD).

Loved the photos of your Christmas. I like that you do puzzles and thanks for the tip on the mat. We haven't done a puzzle for a really long time. I am so happy your son is still with you; that is so fun. We had a quiet Christmas this year with just the two of us and actually it was so relaxing.
Your Christmas sounded just perfect.
Blessings and hugs for you as the New Year rolls in!

The chicken looks fantastic! I'm sure the rest of the meal did as well. Great looking puzzle! I bought my daughter one of the puzzle savers several years ago and it worked well. We watched Klaus twice over the Christmas holiday and loved it! Our other favorite movie is the most recent animated Grinch with the screaming goat! :-)

So glad you all had such fun times together, I love that puzzle, I would probably have to frame it. That roll up mat may be just the thing we need with Opie :) We watched that Klaus before Christmas that was a cute movie.
Oh the hat on your great nephew is just the cutest ever, it is just perfect with his little outfit, and that smile just warms your heart!!

Your chicken looks amazing! We were gifted with a new table from a neighbor and it is just big enough to be my puzzle/game table. Christmas movies are so wonderful..
