The Hershey Gardens

When we checked in to the Hotel Hershey,
they gave us complimentary admission tickets to the Hershey Gardens.

I was a little surprised,
and figured what would be blooming mid October.
Much to my surprise, there was a lot in bloom,
mostly roses but there were also a lot of mums in bloom as well!
This picture was taken on the first day, when we visited the Butterfly Atrium.
I did not wear the scarf, it was for picture taking purposes only.
If I had it my way, the only thing I would have been wearing was a portable fan.

The gardens overall were gorgeous, so many colors, so many healthy roses.

You can see the Hotel Hershey in the background.

Such a great weekend filled with lots of fun and beautiful weather,
we always enjoy our trips here!

Have you ever been to Hershey, Pa., it is the sweetest place on earth...

That orange mum is gigantic. How does one even grow that big in a season? The roses are beautiful. A great place to visit for sure.

We did go to Hershey when we were full time RVing and loved it. It smelled like chocolate all over town...how could I not love it! It was about this time of year too. All the other people in the RV resort had all decorated for Halloween. ... I don’t think we went to the Gardens though ...too busy eating candy I suppose ...I know we took the tour. Obviously looking at Your gorgeous pics we missed a good thing!

What a pretty place!! Wow, so MANY ROSES!!---and so many colors! I love seeing them all. Love that red one against the bright blue sky best, I think. A photographer's paradise for sure. Adorable pictures of y'all. I love to sit by fountains like that and could do it for hours....love the hear the relaxing water. I love that pretty statue of the lady with the vase on her shoulder too. Those were quite popular on the old plantations here hundreds of years ago. I love to photograph them.
