Yarn Along

Have you ever thought about it...
A ball of yarn and two sticks...keep me entertained for hours.

Last week I started a new blanket in shades of purple, for my great niece Madelyn.
I have never knitted anything for her,
she is only 8 months old and still has plenty of time to use a blanket.
When she out grows it, she can use it for her dolls.
Her mom Christine is the type of person who treasures handmade...
I know this gesture will mean a lot to her.

My sea glass from Sunday, the small pretty shell has a crab in it.
It appears he/she has passed on.

I am happy with the colors, although I would have liked the darkest purple to be a light gray.
They were out of that color, so I went with the dark purple.

This blanket is still at the same point.
I will start back up on this one when I finish the purple one.

I love your sea glass displays. My daughter found a piece of "sea" glass when we were at Loch Ness!! I wonder if Nessie was drinking a Coke in a bottle.

I am so surprised you started a new on and hadn't finished the other one. Maybe it is just me that has that rule:)

The dark purple looks like the deepest part of the sea!

I have a blanket my grandma crocheted when I was 10. My now 13 year old is asleep under it at this moment! (Yes, at 11:30 am...haha)

"Live a life you love."

I love that saying!

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog today.
