River Ride...

Lets take a sunset cruise down the Mystic River...

 aboard The Sabino...

 I'll be your captain!!

The steamboat Sabino is the last remaining wooden,
coal-fired steamboat in operation in the U.S.
Built in 1908 in East Boothbay, Maine, by W. Irving Adams,
she spent most of her career ferrying passengers and cargo
between Maine towns and islands.
She is still powered by the two-cylinder Paine compound steam engine
installed in 1908.

Debbie, you did it again! I get to go with you and see this beautiful place! Places I never knew existed. Our dream was to own a big, fancy motorhome and drive the entire east coast looking here and there and meeting the people and how they live. I AM doing it through your camera lense! THANK YOU! This place is amazing!

Great photos! Some very nice ships and boats! The water is beautiful! You know, of course, as captain you are responsible for fending off pirates. And feeding the crew. :-)

Wow, what a lovely post on your cruise down the river. Spectacular pictures and I loved learning about the boat.
Through the years we have taken a few river cruises and they were so fun.
Thanks for sharing this one and I love seeing the fun you two have. If I can just get that hubby of mine to retire.
Blessings for this one!
