Lis Bake Shop

Our last stop in Mystic, before heading up to Rhode Island was...

 Lis Bake Shop

The hubs found it on a "must visit when in Mystic list"!!
We always find those suggestions to be spot on,
and this was no exception.

The hubs and I both chose the apple turnover (extra sugar please)...
and we sat out back to enjoy them.

This was the view!!

 This too!!

This place was a life saver for my hungry belly!!

Next stop,
Watch Hill, Rhode Island...get ready!!

They have iced coffee so I'm in! My problem with a place like that would simply be making a choice. :-) Gorgeous view!

Now that looks like my kind of place to visit, although I've had to back off on my sugar consumption in the last few years! I have such a sweet tooth. Nice set of photos you posted.

Hi Debbie, awesome photos as always. I was having a chat with hubs and he said that when we lived in Rhode Island that I went with a group of navy wives to Mystic. For the life of me I do not remember. Of course, this was 36 years ago ;) The bakery makes me think a trip to Mystic is in our future. Who know, my memory might come back.

Oh, I bet it smells good in there! I like the sign that life is short so eat cookies. My sentiments exactly. :-)
