Have you heard that we have had a lot of snow here at
The Jersey Shore?
My birds "seem" to enjoy it and come out in droves as soon as it starts.
This little song sparrow was having a ball in the snow.
Here's a little push off...
a little mid-air action, jumping from branch to branch...
and a perfect landing.
I had so much fun watching her.
Of course there was plenty of time for resting as well...
and making eye contact with that brown eyed girl who is always watching!

You could probably write thought balloons for each of these. That last one cracked me up with the look she's giving you. Beautiful shots!
This is such a cute little bird. And the photos of the flicker and its many patterns are wonderful, too.
HI Debbie The snow and birds is a wonderful combination for photogrpahy
You do have fun in the snow. It is nice that the birds are there to help entertain you too. Sweet shots of the Song Sparrow.
Just enough snow to make it all very pretty.
We won't see the song sparrows for a couple of months yet. Bird migrations are such a big part of the seasons!
